FACE (Family & Community Enrichment)
We are an organisation primarily for the Southbourne area of Bournemouth providing a range of services that support the needs of the community in our area, and are based at Immanuel Church.
Find out more about our activities by viewing the titles below.
Please contact us if you need any of our services, or if you know of other needs in the community, or if you could support us either financially or by volunteering; we would always be pleased to hear from you.
We meet on the first Thursday of every month at 2pm. There is the opportunity to chat and share experiences over tea and cake.
Professionals from Health and Social Care offer their expertise and support. There is no charge for these meetings.
This group provides ongoing support for carers who have been bereaved as well as those whose loved one goes into residential care. We meet at Immanuel Church on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 2.30pm to chat and plan activities - including meals out, trips to the theatre or cinema and film nights. There is no charge.
If you have some practical problems as well as the emotional difficulties caused by bereavement, we may be able to give support and help with these. If you feel unable to join in a group situation just yet we can offer you one to one support, in strictest confidence.
You would be very welcome to come without there being any obligation to come again, but we hope that you would benefit from the meetings and so wish to attend regularly.
